GuardMagic VB8
 
Special tanker-truck GPS/ GSM-GPRS module dedicated to use on tanker-truck application.  
 
Module is intended for remote monitoring fuel level in compartments of fuel trailer (semi-trailer), remote supervision of tanker-truck movement, monitoring of tractor (track) fuel consumption and tanker-truck status.
 
Module has two digital communication interface EIA-485.
 
Module supports up to THREE regular fuel tanks and up to  ELEVEN cargo tanks (cargo compartments).

ABOUT GUARDMAGIC VB8     
 
GuardMagic VB8 is a compact special tanker-truck GPS/ GSM-GPRS module dedicated to use on tanker-truck application.

GuardMagic VB8 intended for remote monitoring fuel level in compartments of fuel trailer (semi-trailer), remote supervision of tanker-truck movement, monitoring of tractor (tuck) fuel consumption.
 
GuardMagic VB8 provides immediate transmitting or storing and posterior transmitting information about fuel level in fuel trailer compartments, tanker-truck location, parameters of tanker-truck movement, condition of external sensors or external circuits, fuel level in truck main fuel tanks, temperature (or humidity), active driver to tanker-truck monitoring station (special server) by GSM-GPRS network.

GuardMagic VB8 provides wireless connection to the Internet network, connection to the Internet server (Monitoring Station) and transmitting information to the Internet server (Monitoring Station).

GuardMagic VB8 intend for construction fuel tanker-truck On-Line monitoring system and fuel tanker-truck fleet management system. In addition module GuardMagic VB8 allows provide guard function of truck.

GuardMagic VB8 modules support GuardMagic Universal Communication Protocol.
(GuardMagic Universal Communication Protocol allows to have modules with different functionality in one system).

GuardMagic VB8 is intended for function in GSM 800/900/1800/1900 networks.
 
 
GuardMagic VB8 benefits in brief:
  • support up to ELEVEN fuel level sensors in cargo tanks (support up to eleven cargo tanks or fuel compartments);
  • support up to THREE fuel level sensors in tractor regular tanks (support up to three regular tanks);
  • digital industrial communication interface with all fuel level sensors (EIA-485);
  • two digital communication bus with fuel level sensors;
  • collect information from fuel level sensors: fuel level and temperature;
  • high resolution in fuel bus (1024 or 4096 levels);
  • fuel bus diagnostic;
  • internal non-volatile memory for the about 120 thousands of records;
  • driver identification function;
  • connection up to SEVEN temperature sensors;
  • programmed active stand-by mode;
  • growing functionality.
 
 
GuardMagic VB8 typical features:
  • immediate transmitting to monitoring center information about vehicle location, movement and status;
  • automatic storing data in internal memory when GPRS connection is absent;
  • automatic starting sending data from internal memory when GPRS connection appears;
  • 130 thousand records in internal memory;
  • supports up to ELEVEN cargo fuel compartments or cargo tanks  (fuel level sensor);
  • supports up to THREE vehicle regular tanks (fuel level sensors with digital interface; RS-485);
  • supports up to SEVEN temperature sensors;
  • driver identification function;
  • immobilization function;
  • working mode:
    - Transport;
    - Special Technic;
  • two types of functionality in operation mode:
    - standard mode (real time);
    - packet mode;
  • automatically switch to "sleep mode" (energy-efficient mode) if transport with no activity.
 
GuardMagic VB8 provides to immediate transmitting or storing in internal non-volatile memory and posterior transmitting the following information:
  • GPS track of tanker-truck (geographical coordinates);
  • GPS parameters of movement (speed, time);
  • Fuel level in fuel cargo compartments (Fuel history up to ELEVEN tanks or compartments);
  • Fuel level in regular fuel tanks (Fuel history up to THREE tanks)*;
  • Data from additional temperature sensors (temperature history up to SEVEN sensors);
  • Active driver identification number (Driver ID)*;
  • Panic signal;
  • Engine overheat*;
  • Road accident*;
  • Car Alarm activation*;
  • Attempt to theft;
  • Engine status;
  • Fuel Tank Empty;
  • Status of external logical circuits (logical input, Event Button).
In additional GuardMagic VB8 allow engine start blocking (immobilization function).
 
 
Using the information transmitting by GuardMagic VB8 about fuel level in fuel compartments, tanker-truck location and parameters of its movement, speed information, information from additional external sensors is possible to:
  • control a fuel tanker-truck location;
  • check loading a fuel trailer (fuel level);
  • control a fuel level in trailer fuel compartments;
  • check the point of fuel loading and uploading;
  • check the current location of tanker-truck;
  • check the whole track of the tanker-truck movement and the optimality of route; 
  • check parameters of movement and real run of tanker-truck; 
  • check tractor (truck) real fuel consumption; 
  • check up volume of fueled fuel in to truck tanks and cargo tanks, and determine the fact of fuel drain; 
  • check the temperature from temperature sensors;
  • personalize the active driver;
  • determine start/end of loading/unloading of a tanker-truck;
  • check the use of working hours;
  • check the visited points;
  • check the performance of the job or analyze the reason of job failure.
